Dr. Mano Laohavanich
Dr. Mano Laohavanich is a Spinta mentor and advisor. He is professor of Buddhism at Thammasat University at Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Mano has been honored as Gaileo of Theravada Buddhism who applied scientific studies of the canonical literature of Buddhism that created one of the greatest academic controversies in the Buddhist World. Besides his work at Thammasat University, Dr. Mano is actively involved as lead member in several projects covering issues covering social, human rights, and medical domains. Dr. Mano’s work has been published in several academic journals. An accomplished academic, he holds a doctorate from Hamburg, master’s degrees from Harvard & Oxford, and bachelor’s degrees from Oxford and Chulalongkorn.
